SurfGuideBooks.com is an independent surf travel guidebook website by Surf-Escape.com, part of Boardshortz.nl. By using this website, subscribing to updates or buying a guide through one of our checkout partners, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These terms are intended to be clear and practical. They do not replace any additional terms that may apply when you buy through external checkout providers such as Gumroad or Boardshortz.nl.
About the surf guidebooks
Surf Guide Books helps surfers understand where to go, when surf spots work and which waves fit their level. The guides are created as practical surf travel resources, not as real-time forecast tools.
Not a forecast
Our guidebooks are not real-time surf forecasts. Always check current conditions, local warnings, tide, swell, wind and safety advice before entering the water.
Conditions change
Surf spots, beaches, access routes, sandbanks, local rules and facilities may change over time. Information in a guidebook should be used as travel guidance, not as a guarantee.
Surf at your own risk
Surfing involves risk. You are responsible for judging your own level, equipment, safety, local rules and whether conditions are suitable for you.
Digital PDF orders
Digital PDF orders are currently handled through Gumroad. When you buy the digital Surf Guide for South West France, the checkout, payment, file delivery and purchase confirmation are processed by Gumroad.
Because digital products can usually be accessed immediately after purchase, refunds may be limited once a digital guide has been downloaded or accessed. Any refund request for a Gumroad purchase may also be subject to Gumroad’s own policies.
Printed guide orders
Printed orders are currently handled by Boardshortz.nl, the Dutch parent site. When you order the printed Surf Guide for South West France, you are redirected to Boardshortz.nl where the order, address details and payment are processed.
Payments for printed guides are handled through the checkout on Boardshortz.nl, currently with payment options such as iDEAL | Wero where available. Shipping times, delivery information, returns and order communication for printed guides are handled through Boardshortz.nl.
Prices, availability and changes
Prices, discounts, availability, shipping details and included bonuses may change over time. We aim to keep SurfGuideBooks.com accurate, but the final price and conditions shown in the relevant checkout flow are leading.
If there is a difference between information on SurfGuideBooks.com and the checkout page of Gumroad or Boardshortz.nl, the information shown during checkout should be treated as the current purchasing information.
